The Mountain Valley Herd was established in 1981 by the late Steve and Barb Durkin.
Mountain Valley is a 4th Generation family run farm, carrying 400 stud and commercial Poll Hereford and Angus females on 5159 acres in the North West slopes of NSW. We have an annual average rainfall of 26 inches. The stock run on natural pasture for the most part with oats being planted for winter feed and fattening.
