Female Cattle
Mountain Valley carries 400 stud and commercial Poll Hereford and Angus females.
Foundation Poll Hereford females were originally purchased from Merawah, Sevenbardot, Tarrawonga and Moorlands. Shortly after females were also purchased from Bobanken for a number of years giving us some of our most dominant cow families such as the dominant Glitters. Bobanken X-Mark X157 being the most influential. Since added to the herd from Bowen, Minlacowie, Merawah and Sevenbardot.
Foundation Angus females purchased from Bowen. We have added to the herd from Cascade, Gilmandyke, Triple A, Farrar, Kidman and Premier.

Purchased K80 at Premier Angus Dispersal Sale 7 October 2020 for $21,000. Top cow and best bull calf in the sale.
K80 is a powerful female with excellent length, muscle and slick coat. K80 adds power and shape to her calves. Calf at foot ASHR102 Sire NJWN498 DOB 25 July 2020 Bull 46kg.
